Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data SquadXOX: Football Grid Game (“the game”) processes on iOS and Android. The game requires no sign-up.
Data we collect for online features
- Anonymous account ID — a device-specific anonymous session (Supabase). No email, password, phone or real name is requested.
- Nickname (optional) — shown on the leaderboard.
- Profile photo (optional) — a small copy is synced for the leaderboard and duels.
- Gameplay data — Football IQ, grids played, streak, league IQs, rarest pick, duel history and card collection.
This data is used only to run the game (score sync, leaderboards, live duels, challenges), is stored with our infrastructure provider Supabase, and is never sold. Publicly visible on the leaderboard: nickname, Football IQ, grids played and profile photo.
Deleting your data: email dobugames@gmail.com and we will delete the server record tied to your anonymous account. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Settings and progress are also kept locally on your device.
Advertising
The game is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob and, where enabled, its mediation partners (such as AppLovin and Unity Ads):
- Rewarded videos — always optional; you choose to watch one for an in-game reward.
- Interstitial ads — occasionally shown between games or runs, with frequency limits.
To deliver and measure ads, these providers may process your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), approximate location derived from your IP address, device information, ad interactions and crash/diagnostic data. On iOS you are asked for permission first (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalized. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a consent form (Google UMP) is shown before ads load. See how Google uses data in ads.
In-app purchases
The only purchase is the optional “Remove Ads” item. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we never see or store your payment details. A one-time “Remove Ads” purchase turns off interstitial ads; optional rewarded videos remain available. Use “Restore purchases” in the game to restore it on a new device.
The game may occasionally show the system's own rating prompt (Apple/Google in-app review). Your rating goes directly to the store; we receive no personal data from it.
Website (squadxox.com)
The web version may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on prior visits; you can opt out at google.com/settings/ads. EU/UK visitors see a consent message first. Progress on the web is stored in your browser (localStorage).
Children
The game is for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; where consent is not given, ads are requested in a non-personalized way.
Who is responsible
Dobu Games is an independent developer (not a registered company) run by Beyza Eren and Burkay Eren, Türkiye. For any privacy question or request — including access or deletion under GDPR or KVKK — contact dobugames@gmail.com.
